3. Purposes

We use personal data to: (a) process and deliver your orders, including sharing delivery details with our logistics partner; (b) process payments, refunds and cash-on-delivery reconciliation; (c) provide customer support and grievance redressal, including statutory record-keeping; (d) comply with law, including tax, consumer-protection and licensing obligations; (e) detect and prevent fraud and abuse; (f) with your consent, send you marketing communications (see clause 7); and (g) operate, secure and improve the Website using analytics as described in the Cookie Notice. We do not use your personal data for any purpose incompatible with these, and we do not sell personal data.

4. Disclosures

We disclose personal data only as needed to the following categories of recipients, under contracts requiring them to protect it: our e-commerce platform provider (Shopify), which hosts the Website and order data; our payment partner Razorpay; our logistics partner Primarc Pecan Retail Limited; our analytics and advertising partners — Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads — as described in the Cookie Notice; professional advisers and auditors; and government authorities or law-enforcement agencies where required by law or legal process. Where you purchase from us on a marketplace (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra, JioMart, Tata 1mg or PharmEasy), the marketplace's own privacy policy governs data you provide to it.

5. Storage, transfers and security

The Website is hosted on Shopify infrastructure, which may store data on servers located outside India; such storage is subject to safeguards under our agreements and applicable Indian law. We apply reasonable security practices and procedures appropriate to the data we hold — including access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure; if a personal data breach affecting you occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as required by applicable law.

6. Retention

We retain order and invoice records for the period required by tax and company law (currently up to 8 years), grievance records per consumer law, and marketing data until you withdraw consent. Account data is retained until you ask us to delete your account. When retention is no longer required, we delete or anonymise the data. If we are required by law to erase data of users inactive for a defined period, we will notify you before deletion as prescribed.

7. Marketing communications

We send marketing messages by email, SMS and WhatsApp only with your consent, obtained through an unticked opt-in at the time of collection. Every message includes an unsubscribe or opt-out route, and we honour opt-outs promptly. SMS and voice marketing is routed in compliance with the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018, and WhatsApp marketing is sent only to users who have opted in. Service messages about your order (confirmations, delivery updates, grievance responses) are sent regardless of marketing preferences.

8. Your rights and your account

You may shop with a registered account or as a guest. You may: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct, complete or update it; ask us to erase data we are not required to retain, including deletion of your account, which is actioned by our Grievance Officer; withdraw any consent (without affecting prior processing or your ability to receive services that do not depend on that data); nominate a person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and raise a grievance about our handling of your data. To exercise any right, write to the Grievance Officer (clause 11) with your registered email/phone for verification. We will respond within the timelines prescribed by applicable law, and if you are dissatisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once its grievance mechanism applies.

9. Children

The Website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of persons under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, write to the Grievance Officer and we will delete it.
